MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to all adults regardless of race, creed, or religion. One can become a member at the time of their first visit or any time thereafter. The membership fee is $25 per year. Members pay $8 each Sunday night they attend a dance. You may attend dances as a guest as many times as you would like without becoming a member. Guests pay $12 to attend each dance. No smoking or drinking is allowed at our Sunday night dances.
The membership is governed by a board of nine directors each serving a three year term. Any member can run for the board after being a member for ar least a year. A president, vice-president, secretatry, and treasurer are elected from the nine board members.

MISSION
The mission of the Continental Dance Club is to promote social ballroom dancing at all levels. We welcome all dancers from those just learning to those who are accomplished ballroom dancers. Adults of all ages and races are welcome. We also welcome the opportunity to engage in charitable activities.

HISTORY
The Continental Dance Club started as a singles dance club in 1955 meeting at the Indiana Roof initially and has had ballroom dances every Sunday since that time. Many years ago the Club changed from a singles club to a club that now welcomes singles and couples. The Club has moved to a variety of locations over the years and now has rented the Starlite Ballroom on Sunday nights for the past twelve years and plans to be there for many years to come.
